Pre-Production progress update #1

Since our pitch on 27th January, we have made a lot of progress on our production.
After our pitch, everyone in the group created an Individual Treatment. The Treatment is a short summary of key characters in the film, synopsis, crew and the three acts of the story. Treatment 

We have also begun to write our script for each act. Once we finish the first acts script, we can then begin with the storyboard and the shot list. The first act of the story is the introductions of the characters. As of now, the script for Act 1 is complete and the storyboard is being developed as well as the shot list.

Tilly, who is the director of the production, also got into contact with potential talent. All talent have agreed to be apart of the production. We will create talent forms, talent profiles and figure out dates to which we can film on within the next few weeks.

We have also created a production schedule, depicting when we plan to do each step of production (pre-production documents, filming, editing etc.)
And finally, we are all doing individual research on topics that we feature in the film. These topics include:

• Mental Health 

This will be researched by Amber

• Motives for abduction

This will be researched by Reece

• The vulnerability of children

This will be researched by Tilly

• Types of abductions

I will be researching this topic

Over the next week, we will be completing more scripts, storyboards, shot lists, location forms, agreements, recces and risk assessments before we can begin filming.
